Description
St. Josephs Health is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join our established and highly experienced team in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to practice across a full spectrum of pulmonary and critical care services within a collaborative, patient centered environment. Our Pulmonary and Critical Care Services team is dedicated to delivering a high quality patient experience while offering the most current treatment options and services.
Position Highlights:
- Structured schedule including ICU coverage, pulmonary consults, and outpatient clinic time
- 1 week per month in ICU
- 3-4 nights of at home call during ICU week (rare call back)
- Week off following ICU rotation
- 1 week per month on pulmonary inpatient service
- Night in house ICU coverage supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers
- Manage high acuity ICU patients in a closed ICU setting
- Perform key pulmonary and critical care procedures
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, daily assessments, and family communication

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care
- New York State medical license
- DEA certification required
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to team based care
Recruitment Package:
- Base Salary: $420,000 to $440,000 per year (dependent on experience) plus additional productivity and quality bonuses
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
