Description
St. Josephs Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, located at 4000 Medical Center Drive in the Northeast Medical Center, Fayetteville. At our Center, each patient receives individualized attention and a comprehensive plan to promote healing and improve quality of life.
Position Highlights:
- Full-Time | Monday-Friday
- Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- No weekends or call
- Outpatient and Inpatient consultations and treatments
- Work in one of the largest Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment centers in the region
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive wound and skin integrity assessments and perform wound debridement and other advanced modalities.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans to ensure optimal healing
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to prevent infection and manage complications
- Facilitate continuity of care to St. Josephs Wound Care Center at discharge.
- Coordinate and implement patient surveillance studies
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner Licensure
- DEA Certification
- Board Certification
- WOCN, WCC or CWS certification preferred but not required
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- A passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary: $118,000-$140,000, with additional productivity earning potential
- Paid malpractice insurance, including tail coverage
- CME time and expense allowance
