Neuroimmunology Opportunity
The Department of Neurology at Albany Med Health System is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to lead and expand its Neuroimmunology Division. Albany Med Health System, the only academic medical center in northeastern New York, is a private, non-profit organization serving over 3 million people. We are expanding to meet regional care needs. The Department of Neurology has established programs in epilepsy, dementia, movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, pediatric neurology, pain management and stroke/neurocritical care. Successful applicants will have a commitment to patient care and supervision of medical students and residents, and a desire to work in a collaborative environment with general and subspecialty neurology colleagues. An academic appointment at an Assistant, Associate, or Professor’s rank depending on their qualifications and years of experience will also be offered.
The successful candidate will have completed a residency in Neurology and have certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. A fellowship in Neuro-immunology is required.

The salary range of $220-240K represents base salaries for an Assistant Professor’s appointment. They do not include the incentive bonus that is paid quarterly, which adds to the total compensation.
