Emergency Medicine
Position Highlights:
- Hourly Pay Range: $99.99 - $999.99. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
What you will do:
- Oversee clinical performance across all NorthShore EDs and work in partnership with operational and nursing leadership to ensure that care models and care delivery are safe and cost-effective.
- Build and implement safe and cost-effective physician/APP care models.
- Partner with acute care leaders across hospital medicine, critical care and surgery to ensure that capacity management programs and goals are effective and achieved with the development of collaborative surge plans that maintain clinical performance and throughput.
- Partner with care management, Immediate Care and Endeavor Health Physician Partners leadership to more effectively manage and support the care of identified patient populations in settings outside of the Emergency Department.
- Drive clinical and operational consistency across Endeavor Health Emergency Departments.
- Partner with care management, Immediate care and Endeavor Health Physician Partners leadership to address site of service opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and oversee ED quality structure that focuses on system improvement, development of key metrics and ensures consistency in entity-based peer review.
- Partner with key system leaders in emergency preparedness, quality, revenue cycle, nursing and other system services to advance organizational initiatives.
- Serve as the system subject matter expert in clinical innovations and developments in the practice and delivery of emergency medicine, including areas such as the expanded use of telemedicine and emerging use of AI.
What you will need:
Minimum Education Level:
- Graduate of nationally accredited and recognized medical school required.
- MBA, similar degree or professional leadership program preferred.
Minimum Licensure Requirements:
- Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.
Minimum Certification Requirements:
- Board certification in area of expertise.
Minimum Work Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in area of expertise in Emergency Medicine.
- Minimum five years of administrative experience as a Chair, Vice Chair, Division Chief, practice lead, or similar position.
- Clinical and organizational leadership track record.
